'Weeds' Season 6 Promo -- What's the Song?

The season 6 promo of 'Weeds' reveals Nancy (played by Mary-Louise Parker) disposing a croquet mallet, passport, cell phone and a gun before evading from the police, while April Smith and the Great Picture Show's 'Terrible Things' soundtracks the scene.

Off the album 'Songs for a Sinking Ship,' the song has Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter confessing to sins that are, well, too atrocious and surprising to mention: "If you dig under my feet / you will find things that you don't want to see / things that I hide deep down inside / a menagerie of the tragedy that I caused and all of my flaws." A bit sinister, but the song's got a poppy, southern twang, and swinging rhythmic guitar strums paired with colorful, hypnotic vocals that leave you wanting more.

And this is just one hit off their February-released album, which is carried by early southern, folky-inspired music mixed with jazzy percussion, and boasts other tracks, 'Colors' (download for free here), 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' and 'Beloved,' among others.
