Fans of Finger Eleven are 'Living in a Dream' with the recent release of the band's new single of that very same name. It's the first sampling of the Canadian rockers' sixth studio album, named, you guessed it, 'Living in a Dream,' which is due out later this fall.
The song features a slinky, winding guitar line weaving in and out of a chunky, computer distorted rhythm section, as singer Scott Anderson decides to chuck his own thoughts and concerns out the window in favor of daydreaming about his lover: "I've been living in a dream about you / And now I know you were all I ever wanted on my mind / And if I never see my own reality / Well, I'm okay to leave it all behind."
The album 'Living in a Dream' will be released Oct. 5. It is the follow up to 2007's 'Them vs. You vs. Me,' which won that year's Rock Album of the Year Juno Award. You can listen to the single now over on AOL Radio's New Alternative First station.
