Guns N' Roses Joins Rock 'N Rev Festival Lineup

Guns N' Roses recently announced that they will play their first show on American soil in four years, and their only US show for all of 2010, on Aug. 13, the fifth and last day of this year's Rock 'N Rev festival in Sturgis, S.D.

The five-day music festival, part of the 70th anniversary celebration for the (in)famous Sturgis rally -- an ever-more popular annual gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts -- will also feature performances from Alice in Chains, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, Wolfmother, Three Days Grace, Hellyeah and 3 Doors Down, among a slew of other hard rockers.

One notable participant are Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme's band Eagles of Death Metal, who had their own brush with the ever-controversial GN'R frontman Axl Rose back in 2006. Specifically, Axl re-named the band "The Pigeons of S--- Metal" and promised they'd never open for his band again after just the first of a planned series of shared concerts. Good thing GN'R are opening on a different night.

Tickets are $45 per day for general admission, $150 for a five-day pass, available at rocknrevfestival.com. Check out the complete lineup after the jump, as announced by the festival's promoters and, of course, subject to change between now and the festival's Aug. 9 kick-off date:
