Linkin Park revealed the album artwork for 'A Thousand Suns' yesterday on their site. The blurry, distorted image is meant to be ambiguous, and anything but simple. The recently announced fourth studio effort is set to hit stores Sept. 14 and co-produced by Rick Rubin and Mike Shinoda -- who collaborated for the production of 2007's 'Minutes to Midnight.'
We still know very little about the album's sound, except for the short audio from their upcoming single, 'The Catalyst,' which is expected to release Aug. 2. The audio snippet is provided for the 'LInkin Park, Featuring You' contest, where fans have the opportunity to remix, write over, or mute parts and add their own to the song. The community votes on innovative portions fans submit, and Linkin Park picks the winner. But hurry LP fans -- contest ends July 25.
