Gwyneth Paltrow soars in 'Country Strong,' the title track from the upcoming flick of the same name, due out later this year.

Pulling vocal inspiration from Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, Paltrow's overpowering determination and self -assurance is revealed both vocally and lyrically, with the help of background vocals from Vince Gill and Patty Griffin, as well as penmanship from Mark Nesler, Jennifer Hanson and Tony Martin. And with lyrics like, "I won't stay down long / Because I'm country strong," the song pairs well with a storyline about a fallen country star, who is determined to make a comeback with the help of a rising songwriter.

Singer-actor Tim McGraw co-stars in the film as Paltrow's manager, where as 'Gossip Girl''s Leighton Meester -- who has a debut album expected out later this year -- plays the young, beauty queen-turned singer.

The last time we saw Paltrow make a singing appearance was alongside Huey Lewis in 2000's 'Duets,' a film manifested around world of karaoke competitions.
