'Sucker Punch' Trailer -- What's the Song?

The recently premiered trailer for director Zack Snyder's upcoming 2011 action fantasy blockbuster, 'Sucker Punch,' features Lords of Acid's hard-hitting ode to genital hygiene, 'The Crab Louse.'

The song comes from the Belgian dance band's 1994 album 'Voodoo U,' which found them moving away from the techno sounds of underground dance hits, such as 'I Must Increase My Bust' from their first album, into the heavier, more industrial sound that would define much of their work in the future.

As the distorted stabs of synthesizers and throbbing bass of the mostly instrumental track build momentum, the trailer brings us into the world of an institutionalized young woman who fights dragons, Samurai and many more otherworldly obstacles -- to achieve her real-life goal of avoiding a lobotomy.

Synder has recently delivered a pair of eye-popping and commercially successful adaptions of legendary graphic novels: 'Watchmen' and '300.' This movie will see him starting from an original script, which he also helped write.

Lords of Acid have been considered pioneers of industrial music since their formation in 1988. They are currently touring across the country as part of the Sextreme Ball tour with My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult. You can check out the trailer for 'Sucker Punch,' featured below.
