Lady Gaga, 'The Remix' -- New Album

Lady Gaga's 'The Remix' album will finally make its debut in the States Aug. 3, after a Japan version was initially released back in March. The US version is lightly different than the Japan and International versions, featuring just 10 tracks that focus on one remixed version of each of Gaga's hit songs off both 'The Fame' and 'The Fame Monster.'

Reworked productions were done by British electronic producers FrankMusik, Starsmith and even Stuart Price (Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Kylie Minogue), as well as Passion Pit and Chew Fu Ghettohouse. Both R&B-pop artist Colby O'Donis and rock stage persona Marilyn Manson are featured on the US version, and according to MTV News, international versions of album have already sold more than 500,000 units.

Notable singles are the remix of 'Alejandro' -- which features a hypnotic, symphonic keyboard melody produced by Swedish group The Sound of Arrows -- as well as Passion Pit's strobing, electopop rework of the Beyonce/ Gaga collab 'Telephone.'
