The song starts with mid-tempo drums, pulsing bass and acoustic guitars combining for a surprisingly direct, earthy sound. Ozzy sings in a measured voice about the madness all around us, and you think, hey maybe he's going after the adult-contemporary market now... nope! Just as you'd hope, the chorus kicks in with a welcome blast of electric guitar fury as Ozzy implores us not to waste our time worrying needlessly: "Every second you throw away / Every minute of every day / Life won't wait for you / No, life won't wait for you my friend."
'Life Won't Wait' seems certain to follow Ozzy's last single, 'Let Me Hear You Scream,' to the top of the rock charts. Ozzy will be playing in six cities while on his annual Ozzfest tour this summer. If you can't wait till then, you can check out his new single on AOL Radio's New Rock First station.

1. This song is way better than "Let Me Hear You Scream," to me because this song has deep meaning in it. This and "I Don't Know," have got to have Ozzy's best lyrics (period). Not an Ozzy fan, really can't stand the image he puts up for himself on T.V. with all the swaring, but there's some great lyrics in "Life Won't Wait." Love It.
