Nelly, 'Just a Dream' -- New Song

R&B star, actor, clothing designer and full-time gym rat Nelly somehow finds time to think about lost love on 'Just a Dream.'

It's the second single from his upcoming album 'Nelly 5.0,' hot on the heels of his earlier hit, 'Tippin' in the Club.'

Plucked acoustic guitars and gentle keyboard washes blend with a snappy beat to create a melancholy mood, perfectly suited for Nelly's tale of loss and regret. Seems our man wasn't quick enough to "put a ring on it," and now he's lost his girl.

Try as he might to fill his days, he's haunted at night by what he lost: "I was thinking about her / Thinking about me / Thinking about us / What we're gonna be / Opened my eyes / It was only just a dream."

The album's name derives from the fact that it will be Nelly's fifth studio album. But as you can read here in our special preview of the album, it also refers to the rapper's custom 2011 Mustang 5.0 liter V-8 automobile, which will reportedly be featured on the record's cover.
