Black Veil Brides seem intent on redefining Los Angeles glam-rock with the hard-charging new single 'Perfect Weapon,' taken from their debut album 'We Stitch These Wounds.'
In press photos, the five-member band looks like a goth version of Motley Crue circa 'Shout at the Devil.' The melodic metal attack of 'Perfect Weapon' certainly sounds like a mix of early Crue and the twin-guitar attack of Judas Priest's early '80s work.
However, several important updates bring the Brides in line with today's sounds. First off, there's the double-time thrash segments; and second, the lower-register, haunting lead vocals of Andy Six: "Here's to your perfect weapon / Crack bones with blind aggression / Like birds whose wings are broken / You live without direction."
The Black Veil Brides are currently out on tour, recruiting more and more people for their fan club, The Bridesmaids. You can decide for yourself if you want to take the vow by checking out 'Perfect Weapon' over on AOL Radio's New Rock First station.

3. I love Black Veil Brides.
I think that this song is really meaningful, and I know it speaks to me and several of my friends on a personal level. It makes us feel like we've got people standing up for us, even if they don't actually know us [Haha].
The band seems to really appreciate their fans.
I can't wait for them to come to Salt Lake City this fall. :]

5. I love Black Veil Brides.
I think they really appreciate and value their fans, and they create great music.
This song means a lot to me and my friends, and I think it makes us feel like no matter the situation, we're not alone in facing it.
I can't wait for them to come to Salt Lake, since they had to miss it. :)

7. I'm a Bridesmaid and proud of it! I discovered the band at the beginning of the year when I was on YouTube and Knives And Pens popped up under suggested. Ever since then I have been in love with their style, their sound, and the way they reach out to us. They deserve all of the attention they are getting right now because of how hard they worked for it. They have such an amazing fan base! We all love and adore them so much.The BVBArmy is such a HUGE family and they are like our older brothers and Sister.

9. BVB is AMAZING! I've already gone to one of their shows and definitely planning on going to another one! They've helped with SO many things in life..it's incredible. I will love and listen to Black Veil Brides till my final day. And that's a promise. I'm a Bridesmaid now, and forever will be.
