Yo Gotti's new song, 'Look in the Mirror,' asks listeners to evaluate whether they truly have what it takes to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the southern rapper.
On his latest track, Gotti has truly taken his hip-hop game to a whole new level, with smooth hooks and silky rhymes that are held together by his trademark southern drawl.
From the song's opening bars, Gotti hits his fans with what feels like a hurricane of energy, and tosses them head-first into his world -- where you're guaranteed to find Gotti "on fire, whole hood blazin'."
'Look in the Mirror' is featured on Yo Gotti's new album, 'Live From the Kitchen,' his highly anticipated follow-up to 2006's 'Back 2 Da Basics,' which expected to hit stores later this year. ""Live From the Kitchen" is a term towards everywhere it started," Gotti explained in a recent interview. "On a street level, you put it together in the kitchen, but not only that, you can create your plan in the kitchen, you can be at the kitchen table counting your money. So the overall meaning of it is that's where the plan started, where you cook the plan up at."
