Eminem reclaims the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart this week by selling 133,000 copies of his blockbuster album 'Recovery,' according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The album has sold over 100,000 copies in each of its first eight weeks of release. It has now sold over 2.1 million copies and is the second-highest selling album of the year, behind Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now,' which stands at 2.5 million.
The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and their friends team up again for the second highest debut of the week, reaching No. 3 on 41,000 sales for the soundtrack to 'Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam.' The movie will premiere on the Disney Channel on Sept. 3.
Right behind the Disney gang, and probably intimidating the heck out of them, is modern-day metal guitar god Zakk Wylde's band, Black Label Society. Wylde proves he doesn't need alcohol or his former boss, Ozzy Osbourne, by selling 33,000 of his new opus 'Order of the Black' to hit No. 4.
An interesting blend of genres rounds out this week's new Top 10 entries. Country singer Blake Shelton's second six-song EP of the year, 'All About Tonight,' moves 33,000 units, good enough for No. 6. Hip-Hop and pop producer Mike Posner is close behind him at No. 8, with his debut album '31 Minutes to Takeoff' selling 29,000 copies.
Last week's chart champion, Montreal-based indie rockers Arcade Fire, drop one spot to No. 2 with 'The Suburbs' after selling 52,000 records, and we do at least partially mean records. Here's an interesting little fact: Last week the band sold 6,100 vinyl copies of their new album, which would have been good enough for No. 67 without CDs and downloads.
Shocker alert! Justin Bieber is still riding high on the charts. 'My World 2.0' tallies 33,000 and moves up to No. 5. He stays ahead of his recent Top 10 neighbor and unlikely peer, hip-hop impresario Rick Ross, who sold 30,000 copies of 'Teflon Don' to stand at No. 7.
What's left? Another unlikely pair; the latest collection of child-song popular hits, 'Kidz Bop 18,' climbs back onto the charts at No. 9, with sales of 28,000, and California metalheads Avenged Sevenfold drop seven spots on 27,000 units to round out the Top 10.
