'Hands' is the first single released off the Ting Tings upcoming new album, 'Kunst,' a follow-up to their successful 2008 debut album, 'We Started Nothing.'
With strobing beats, mixed with new wave psychedelic keyboard melodies and heavy percussion, the track evokes subtle similarities to Madonna's dance pop number 'Hung Up' -- especially in the delivery of the chorus when the Katie White sings "Clap your hands if your working to hard."
White and drummer Jules de Martino recorded 'Kunst' in Berlin last Christmas, according to Spinner. The city's conditions at the time, a whopping minus 25C, indirectly played a role on their songwriting and the Ting Tings new sound, which they deem as either "dancey or dark."
No release date has been set yet for 'Massage Kunst.' To hear their new single, 'Hands,' head over to AOL Radio's New Pop First station.
