'Soldiers & Jesus' follows 'Groovy Little Summer Song,' the lead-off single from his album, co-produced by Otto and Paul Worley (Big & Rich, Lady Antebellum, Dixie Chicks).
"This is a declaration of who I am," James tells The Boot of the country-soul 'Shake What God Gave Ya,' which follows his 2008 critically-acclaimed 'Sunset Man' album.
