Infused with bongo drums and hand-clapping percussion, 'One in a Million' has Ne-Yo soaring with Michael Jackson-sounding vocals, as he sweetly professes to his girl, "there's a million girls around but I don't see no one but you."
Ne-Yo's inspiration for 'Libra Scale' was culled from his comic book, Japanimation and sci-fi fetishes, to create a superhero concept album full of fame, power, money and sacrifices for love, as well as his admiration for the King of Pop.
The R&B crooner also hopes to widen his fan base with his upcoming album, which will not only attract comic bock geeks and MJ fans, but also country fans. That's right, Ne-Yo likes country music, going as far as to bring in Nashville producer Luke Laird (Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood) for the album's acoustic ballad 'She Is.' "Literally, I'm trying to please all of the people all of the time," Ne-Yo, a Libra, fittingly tells Rolling Stone. "I know people have said it's impossible, but damnit, I feel like I can do it."
