Over a reverb-heavy guitar melody and wailing electric trills in the chorus, Jon Bon Jovi's rustic, yet soulful vocals advise: "If you ain't got someone, you're afraid to lose / Everybody needs just one, someone, to tell them the truth."
Produced by Howard Benson and mixed by Chris Lord-Algehe, the rock ballad is one of four new tracks written for their double-disc compilation, and proves that over 25 years later, the band can still produce catchy power ballads.
