'At or With Me' is a new track off Jack Johnson's June-released album, 'To the Sea.'
Beginning with a breezy piano melody -- followed by layered electric riffs and percussion -- this peppy song has Jack half-mocking himself, crooning, 'Are they laughing at or with me / Oooooooo ooooh / Why can't we just say what we mean."
By the time we reach three minutes, the soul-driven, foot-stomping harmonica chimes in, adding more layers to a effervescent, summer jam. The singer's warming tones -- on 'At or With Me' as well as other uptempo tracks featured on Johnson's album 'To the Sea' -- are credited to birth of his daughter.
Jack Johnson is currently touring promoting 'To the Sea,' with G. Love popping in on a couple collaborations, such as the harmonica-accompanied 'At or With Me.'
