Brandon Flowers, 'Only the Young' -- New Song

Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers drops another chorus-driven anthem, titled 'Only the Young,' off his debut solo album 'Flamingo.'

Backed by an ethereal, organ melody, the track drives slowly into the second verse, with electric guitar backing and light percussion. Then, a heavily percussion-driven pop rock chorus -- accompanied by sweetly composed synths -- takes over and Flowers soars: "Only the young can break away, break away / Lost when the wind blow; on your own, ohh.."

'Flamingo' not only debuted this week on the Billboard 200 chart, selling of 41,000 copies, but reached No. 1 on the UK charts, a feat surely credited to his new wave-inspired sound and irresistible hooks. To hear 'Only the Young,' tune in to AOL Radio's New Alternative First station.
