Lee DeWyze, 'O Holy Night' -- New Song

RCA

Lee DeWyze is getting into the Christmas spirit with his rendition of the holiday classic 'O Holy Night.'

The 'American Idol' winner performed the song at the annual tree-lighting ceremony at Graceland on Nov. 19, where he also sang 'Dear Isabelle' from his major-label debut 'Live It Up.'

"All this Christmas makes me want to do a Christmas album lol," DeWyze wrote to his fans on Twitter before his performance. "Looking forward to tonight, gonna be fun. Thanks again everyone for everything."

While the Illinois native's devotees may have to wait a little longer for a full holiday CD, they can enjoy a recorded version of the song now. DeWyze joins a long list of artists who have covered the beloved Christmas carol, including Luciano Pavarotti, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Josh Groban.
