After scoring Top 10 hits with 'Na Na Na' and 'Sing,' My Chemical Romance are back with 'Bulletproof Heart,' a new song from their concept album 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.'
The song opens quietly with a dramatic vocal from Gerard Way, who sings about getting out of town while he still can:
"Gravity don't mean too much to me / I'm who I've got to be / These pigs are after me, after you / Run away like it was yesterday / And we could run away / If we could run away, run away from here."
Thirty seconds in, the song takes off with a smoking guitar riff from Ray Toro that falls somewhere between power-pop and pop-punk. "Let's blow a hole in this town and do our talking with a laser beam," Way urges.
Released in late 2010, 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys' is a futuristic concept album about a band of outlaws fighting for justice. The album debuted at No. 8 in November.

(Page 1)2. Yeah, I thought Planetary (GO!) was going to be released as the next single on March 21. I've already been hearing it on the radio.

1. Ummm... This isn't very accurate... The next single is going to be Planetary (GO!) not Bulletproof Heart. Might want to change this.
