Indie rockers Bloc Party are back with their 4th album, and their first since 2008. Yellowcard will bring us their 2nd installment since their hiatus a few years back. 'Southern Air' is scheduled for release on August 14.
Big things are once again expected for Wiz Khalifa who's 4th studio album, 'O.N.I.F.C.' drops August 28. The album is sure to be one of the hottest albums of the summer, and will feature many stars such as 50 cent, Busta Ryhmes, and will.i.am. Also included on Khalifa's album, is 2 Chainz, who is scheduled to release his anticipated first studio album, 'Based on a T.R.U. Story.'
August will also treat fans to new albums from Owl City, Yeasayer, and Alanis Morissette. Morissette, who is completing a European Tour for the summer of 2012, will release 'Havoc and Bright Lights,' her first release since 2008.
Also keep a look out for the debut album by American musical project Divine Fits, which consists of members from Spoon, Wolf Parade, and New Turk Bombs. The indie rock project will be released August 28.
