Apple iPad Commercial -- What's the Song?

If you tuned into the Oscars on March 7, you most likely saw the commercial for Apple's new iPad, showcasing e-book reader and multimedia platform capabilities as well as the short, spunky, opening riffs of 'There Goes My Love' by Danish indie rock outfit the Blue Van.

'There Goes My Love' is from the quartet's 2008 and latest studio release 'Man Up,' an album which also includes other TV-featured tracks: 'Silly Boy' in a Samsung Behold ad, the title track in the season eight promotion of ABC's 'Scrubs' (as well as an episode of WB's '90210'), and lastly 'Be Home Soon' in an episode of USA Networks' 'Royal Pains.'

Check out the track -- which clearly shows childhood influences covering Kinks, Doors, Animals and Who -- in Apple's commercial below.

Pepsi Throwback Commercial -- What's the Song?

The latest commercial for Pepsi Throwback features the NFL's past colliding with its future as Bob Dylan's song 'Forever Young' plays in the background. This version is one of two from Dylan's 1974 album, 'Planet Waves.' The other is a slower, acoustic take. Dylan's blessings of vitality and youth are perfect for a sport in which injuries can happen in an instant and a player is considered "old" when he reaches 30. The retro sound of 'Forever Young' gives the viewer a sense of nostalgia for days -- and caffeinated beverages -- that have long since passed.

Check out the commercial below and listen to Bob Dylan on AOL Radio's Songwriters station.
