For me, what makes a great song is how much feeling goes into every aspect of the song. I love it when you can tell that the artists really mean what they sing, which is why, in my opinion, lyrics can make or break a song. When I'm writing for We the Kings, I make sure that I don't force any phrases or words into the music that don't sound natural.
