'Two Black Cadillacs' is deep with a dark theme as the song tells a story of a wife and mistress conspiring to murder the same man who cheated on both of them. The mid-tempo, haunting tune was co-written by Josh Kear and Hillary Lindsey, both of whom have collaborated with Underwood on other hits including 'Before He Cheats' and 'Jesus, Take The Wheel.' Although, Underwood said she created the character for the song, she told Glamour magazine that all her album's need a revenge song on it. She added: "People really like when I do that. I don't mean to. I don't hate men that much. But it turns out so well!" Underwood's voice stands strong above the gloomy strings and guitars. She sings: "It was the first and the last time they saw each other face to face/they shared a crimson smile and just walked away/and left the secret at the grave."
'Blown Away' debuted at Number one on the 'Billboard 200' earlier this year. She continues to tour in support of the album, alongside Hunter Hayes. Her 'Blown Away' tour is expected to last through May 2013. You can listen to 'Two Black Caddilacs.' right now on AOL Radio's New Country First.
