Drake, 'Started from the Bottom' -- New Song

Canadian hip-hop star Drake has released 'Started from the Bottom' from his upcoming third studio album 'Nothing Was the Same.' The song is the first single from the album and was produced by Mike Zombie.

Drake's popularity has greatly increased since the release of his Grammy-award winning second album 'Take Care.' His new song is an autobiographical tale that is backed by eerie piano beats and plenty of percussion. The song is catchy, but not as powerful as some of his past successful singles. Drake specifically discusses his early life and the beginning of his career. Ultimately he boasts that "now we're here." There is a lot of flow in his lyrics and rhymes; it is clear Drake has supplanted himself as one of the most talented hip-hop artists in the industry. He says, "We don't like to do too much explaining. Story stays the same through the money and the fame."
