Before I mention those, let us talk about what is good.
First of all, it is fairly well priced and comes in many sizes, so you can get one just right. This is the top cello by Cecilio so naturally, they included a number of useful accessories, a 1-year warranty, along using high-quality materials to make this.
The electric cello body is made with hand-carved, top quality maple wood, which is finished in pearl white varnish. You will find pegs and tailpiece with mother of pearl inlay. Along with an ebony fingerboard, so it is not like the company cheeped out.
However, that white pearl paint, it often chips out. Many users have complained that and the tuners, well, they aren't the most sturdy ones.
I really like Cecilio as a company and they make great products, but unfortunately, this did not meet my expectations. With all that said, this is a 400$ electric cello, so if you keep your expectations in accordance with that, it does not seem that bad.
I would not recommend this to professionals, but it is a perfectly viable option for beginners or intermediate players wanting to upgrade to an electric cello.

So, naturally, I went in this review of their Silent Series SVC-110SK Electric cello with high expectations and I am glad that it met them with flying colors.
This electric cello sounds, feels and looks beautiful, making it an instant pick for both beginners and professionals. Unlike other cellos in the SVC series, it is built in a very subdued manner, but this very design makes it outperform the other models for playing it acoustically.
This electric cello has a full-bodied frame for that traditional feel. When you hold this best electric cello, you can instantly tell it is built using high-quality material (maple and spruce wood) and it sounds that way as well. I don't think any other electric cello on this list sounds as good as this one.
The only shortcoming of this cello, assuming money for you is not a concern here because you need batteries to produce sound.

It features an Ebony wood fingerboard and pegs and tailpiece with mother of pearl inlay and 4 detachable fine tuners. It has a rather special design and I find it to be quite an eye-candy personally.
You can play one of these by attaching a pair of headphones or via the 1/8" output jack that allows you to connect to most guitar amps or PA systems. You will need a 9V alkaline battery to power it, which is not a big deal.
Naturally, since this is for beginners and a budget option, there will be some quality issues but once you get past those, it is a very solid deal.
