AOL Radio's All Twitter Request Station!
The request period is now over. We are no longer taking requests. Thanks to all who participated!
Want to contribute to AOL Radio's first all-Twitter-request radio station?! AOL Radio is creating a radio station programmed entirely by Twitter users, and we invite all Twitter users to participate!
Today (Wed. June 10th) from 12 pm ET until midnight ET, announce your request by tweeting the artist/band name, song title and hashtagging it with #aolradiorequest
Examples
Madonna, "Like a Prayer" #aolradiorequest
Led Zeppelin, "Stairway to Heaven" #aolradiorequest
Request as many songs as you want during the time window tomorrow. If we have it, we'll add it to the Tweet Request station on aolradio.com starting tomorrow, June 11th, for one week!
NOTES:
-
Songs that receive the most votes will be played the most often, so tell your friends to get involved as well! We'll also post on aolradioblog.com a list of the songs that received the most requests.
-
We invite super Twitter users Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk), Britney Spears (@britneyspears), President Barack Obama (@BarackObama), Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow), Oprah Winfrey (@oprah) and Jimmy Fallon (@jimmyfallon) to make a special song request: Any tweet song requests made by them on June 10th will be heard once an hour on the station.
