10) Airscape and Jes: 'My Love'
This is the first single released by DJ Johan Gielen of Airscape since the duo called it quits in '05. Vocalist JES sings 'My Love' and beautifully captures the innocence of summer love.
9) Plumb: 'Hang On'
The top dance song is about hope. Plumb originally wrote 'Hang On' for a documentary film, never expecting to produce it herself. Good thing she changed her mind: 'Hang On' is one of the two new singles in her new greatest hits album, 'Beautiful History.'
8) AnnaGrace: 'Let the Feelings Go'
Formerly known as Belgium dance group Ian Van Dahl, this is AnnaGrace's second single. Following in the footsteps of the first single 'You Make Me Feel,' this 2009 song also peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay.
7) David Guetta: 'Sexy Chick'
Be prepared to put this one on repeat. This is the clean version of Guetta's wildly popular song 'Sexy Bitch.' Guetta's single is sexy indeed, selling over 900,000 copies. However, we've got the latter for your listening pleasure. The best line of the song: "I'm trying to find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful." Only Akon could pull that off.
6) Morgan Page: 'Fight for You'
Anyone who has downloaded the 'Tap Tap Revenge 2' iPhone app will recognize 'Fight for You' because it's the theme song -- so will anyone who has recently watched 'Melrose Place.' This top dance song is the first single released from the album, 'Believe,' which is set to drop in February 2010. Page claims the year and a half he spent writing and producing the album was worth it.
5) Cascada: 'Evacuate the Dancefloor'
No wonder 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay and made the Billboard Hot 100 list. Featuring rapper Carlprit, this song is as catchy as Lady Gaga's 'Let's Dance.' Critics have called this a rip-off of Lady Gaga's style. But Internet rumors claim Lady Gaga was inspired by them!
4) Deadmau5 + Kaskade: 'I Remember'
Pronounced "Deadmouse," Joel Zimmerman -- the mystery man behind the mask -- wears a large red, mouse-head costume, even when he performs live. In the version of the music video that was filmed as a short film, two men listen to actor Stephen Graham discuss life and rave culture. The video ends with Deadmau5 performing at an illegal rave. 'I Remember' infuses his house music with Kaskade's dance party style, and it has spread like wildfire.
3) Ameerah: 'Sound of Missing You'
Ameerah, which means "princess" in Arabic, is well on her way to becoming a pop princess. Her hit single, 'Sound of Missing You' peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Chart. For all of the songs on this Top Dance Songs about relationships, this one is about the end of one. You know that feeling you get when you miss someone so much and nothing you do can make the feeling disappear? Yes, that's the 'sound of missing you.' The song bleeds with emotion.
2) Madonna: 'Celebration'
'Celebration' is a celebration of Madonna's career, and was the first single released from her new album of the same name. It was her 55th song to make it into Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance club. This 2009 song is inspired by previous hits, 'Vogue' and 'Deeper and Deeper' and is blended with some europop.
1) David Guetta: 'When Love Takes Over'
Featuring Kelly Rowland, this song will make you bob your head to its beat. It's no wonder why 'When Love Takes Over' is our No. 1 Top Pop Song. DJ Guetta takes his DJ night club popularity from the underground dance scene to the Internet, racking up 70 million views on YouTube. Now he's taking the world by storm: By teaming up with top urban scene vocalists, such as Black Eyed Peas and Kid Cudi, his R&B dance songs have become instant hits. The song peaked at No. 1 in 13 different charts around the world. It looks like the Romanians, the Spanish, the Swiss, and even the Americans love him.
