'The Point of It All' is a single off Anthony Hamilton's fourth studio album of the same name. With a prominent handclap backbeat and sparse piano runs, this song is about not being able to be away from one's true love: "You're a major part of my life / And no matter what the storm may bring I'm fine with you / And the point of it all / Is I love you."

The second single from Ne-Yo's album, 'Year of the Gentleman,' this top R&B song of the decade samples 'Forget About Me' by Lil Bit and won 2009 Grammy awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song. The music video features Keri Hilson, Gabrielle Union, Lauren London and Trey Songz.
Featuring Mary J. Blige, this passionate, slow jam is about trying to keep a relationship in tacked. On his unique name, Musiq says, "There were people who knew of me but didn't really know me; they just knew me as 'that music dude.' So after getting that so much, I was like 'Just call me Musiq.' It was so fresh to me because if I had to be called anything, I would have wanted to be called Music."
'Let Me Love You' is the first single from Mario's 2004 album 'Turning Point.' 'New York Times' says the song "looks back to another 1980's blockbuster, lifting its keyboard sound from Tina Turner's 'What's Love Got to Do With It.'" The single is certified double-platinum and was co-written with fellow top R&B song of the decade singer Ne-Yo.
'I Don't Wanna' is a song by Aaliyah that did not appear on any of the singer's albums, but was part of both the 'Next Friday' soundtrack and the 'Romeo Must Die' soundtrack. Although it was released in 1999 as a promotional single, it didn't gain traction until 2000. Following this single, Aaliyah released her self-titled album in July of 2001, and tragically passed away that same August, amidst critical acclaim for her album.
'Goodbye' is the second single off Jagged Edge's third studio album, 'Jagged Little Thrill,' a spin-off to Alanis Morissette's 24x platinum album 'Jagged Little Pill.' The group, fronted by twin lead singers Brian and Brandon Casey, are set to release their seventh album, titled The Remedy, in 2010.
The first version of this ballad, 'Dangerously in Love,' was originally recorded by Destiny's Child off their 2001 third studio album 'Survivor,' and is one of the few songs on 'Survivor' Beyoncé sings almost completely solo. Beyoncé's re-recorded 2003 version -- featured on her solo album -- won her a 2004 Grammy Award.
'Confessions Part 2' is (gasp) a man's confession to his woman about his impregnated mistress, a continuation of 'Confessions Part I' which relates a man's infidelity. While the song confronts rumors about Usher's own infidelity, he and his producer Jermaine Dupri say the song was taken from friends' experiences. Hmmm...will let you decide.
