If you like the seductive electro-tango tracks of Gotan Project, you'll be digging Bajofondo (formerly Bajofondo Tango Club), an eight-member group with roots in Argentina and Uruguay. Bajofondo's 'Pa' Bailar,' the first single off their third album 'Mar Dulce,' sets the tone to the new Acura ZDX commercial, and it's an obvious pairing: sexy tango as the backdrop for a slow-motion shot of a silver four-door coupe catching the eye of an elegant brunette.
'Pa' Bailar' has been remixed a handful of times (with vocals! Without electro!) and is also the theme song to Brazilian soap opera 'A Favorita.' Check out the commercial below.
