2. What can I say? I've been a fan since I heard their debut album back in 1982, and their sound has always fired my imagination. Wetton's voice, Howe's guitar, Downes' keyboards and Palmer's drums combine in such a way that no other band can replace them in my affections. This new release is way up there with the best this band has done, and deserves to be as legendary as Heat Of The Moment. I'm waiting for Omega with baited breath. Can it please be April already?

4. An excellent taster for the new album, but this was originally released on John Wetton and Geoff Downes' second Icon album, Rubicon, all the way back in '06!
Still, I can't wait to hear the genuinely new tracks on Omega.
For anyone getting impatient waiting I can thoroughly recommend all the Icon albums, especially the acoustic TV broadcast for the versions of some Asia classics to be found on it.

5. Asia, 1982 was my first cassette tape at k-mart, 13.00, love the sound and music, one of my top 3 bands ever.
the new music kicks some serious arse..
Asia, thanks for continuing to tour and make music together, the way it's suppose to be..
Cheers, from Seattle WA!!!
Be well,
Pete

7. Man, this song is GREAT!!! I, too, have been an Asia fan since the first album in 1982 and have caught them half a dozen times since they reformed in 2006. This new album sounds like it will even surpass Phoenix! I've already pre-ordered the UK edition...

8. Rather a poor track I thought, needs to be tighter. I hope the rest of the album is better.

9. Corny lyrics just as I'd expect from them. Something a teenage band would pen.

10. Asia's great when they want to be. But please enough with the soft mellow romance music. If I wanna hear love songs I'll put on my Barry Manilow cds. Asia has the potential to be put out some of the greatest music ever, but please guys stop with the sapp-enought allready. Finger on the trigger is their best song since Eye to Eye. I hope the Sap on the new Cd is limited to just 2 songs but I have a feeling it's not.

11. I am disapointed that Asia are useing old material on ther new Omega album. Although the track Finger on the Trigger is a good song i and many other fans will already have it on Rubicon. Still heres waiting in anticipation of Omega.

14. I really was hoping for something a bit more interesting. These guy's are all masters of prog rock.I know ASIA is supose to be a more radio friendly version of these guy's other bands but those lyrics sound like they were lifted off and 80's go go's album... or worse... I hope the rest is better. I hope it's not another Phoenix. Think about it this should be King Crimson meets Yes meets ELP, with a side of Uria Heep come on guys

15. Geez...there are a lot of dumb comments here. It's a good competent song from a group that should have long past it's expiration date but instead sounds fresh and fun. We should all be so lucky to still be able to do it with such quality at that age. No it won't blow up the charts and unseat Lady GaGa as the newest sensation but fans will like this. To all those lamenting the quality of the lyrics let's hear your song. And to the guy who says "Think about it this should be King Crimson meets Yes meets ELP, with a side of Uria Heep come on guys"...maybe Asia will call you to produce the next record until then go listen to Barry Manilow with douchbag #10.

16. Apparently, there's no TRUE fans here. Everyone keeps mentioning the 1982 debut album as if they put out no others. I have evry Asia album, even the John Payne years [he was different, but still good]. To be honest, my fave album by Asia is Alpha, but their 2nd best [by far] is 2008's "Phoenix". So many great songs on that. Their best album of the Payne years was 1992's "Aqua" [Payne's first album with them]. I'm sick and tired of hearing people say they're true fans and all thy ever mention is "Heat of the Moment" or their first album. Also, Chris C.---who cares about charts? Is the Billboard charts the litmus test of good music? In many ways, just the opposite.

17. I really loved the Phonenix album it was a pleasent surprise after not hearing that lineup since the eighties. Find 'Finger on the trigger' quite commercial but it ain't a bad record.

18. Im just happy that "Phoenix" wasnt a comeback one album stint---and they have recorded now as many albums in the past 2 years [as the original line-up] as they did in the entire 80's.

19. What can I say? When is the last time anyone out there who likes real music,ie;real musicians, music with substance and amazement, opened up a cd(album!) and got chills running up their spine? In the 70's when a YES album was ready to be released you literally lived in disarray and awe for 2 weeks. In summary, theirs NOTHING new out there so thats why we are all still researching the past for that magic that will probably never come. Go see LIVING COLOUR live, youll be amazed for a change?
