4. Your number 1 pick is off by at least 10, I have seen Kenny 3 times live and he is good, however the # 1 song has to be Caliente by Gato Barbieri. I saw him perform this live in Orlando and it was incredible. I have listened to it literally a hundred times and it never gets old. The smooth jazz and pop radio stations have not worn it out like Kenny G's

6. Where is John Klemmer and the original Rippington's Moonlighting? I would list Europa here but by the cowriter, Tom Coster, who recorded it in the '80s as a jazz piece.

10. I love Gene Ammons,his debut on the Jazz Scene was long before Smooth Jazz was identified as a genre. I'm also a big fan of Wayman Tisdale, Euge Groove and Gerald Albright.

1. I LOVE smooth jazz...it's so totally underrated -- some of the best musicians and songs. A legitimate genre of music that can't be dismissed. It was a travesty when all the jazz stations got flipped. Mindless marketing directors with no sense of music were responsible for that! Thanks for reminded me how good it is. If I only had the money, I'd buy a station, program smooth jazz and be number one in the ratings.
