Justin Bieber's new song 'Never Say Never ' is the hottest single off the upcoming 'The Karate Kid' soundtrack. Not only does the film's theme song feature Bieber's now-trademark silky smooth voice, but a surprise guest, as well -- Jaden Smith, the star of the forthcoming remake, and, it should be noted, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. And listening to him sing shoulder-to-shoulder next to one of today's titans of pop, it's clear that Jaden inherited a lot of his father's musical talent, and flair for the theatrical.
The new song, in the most simple terms, is a burst of energy. After Justin opens by singing about a life filled with adversity ("I never thought I could walk through fire / I never thought I could take the burn"), he's joined by Smith (or "lil bro," as he calls him), who dives into a burst of rhymes tight enough to make even his father raise an eyebrow. Even on a soundtrack featuring the likes of Lady Gaga, John Mayer and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, this single -- penned by the two singers, as well as Adam Messinger, Nasri Atweh and Thaddis Harrell -- is sure to stand out as the film's flagship anthem.
'The Karate Kid' hits theaters on June 11, but you can check out the official video for the collaboration single here. To listen to Justin Bieber's new song, check out AOL Radio's New Pop First station.
