5. Springstein? I didn't know Bruce had a Jewish cousin that sings. Springsteen on the other hand does suck.

11. They lost me at Back In Black in 67th place and Boston Peace Of Mind at 64th. Thought this was a rock list, not a hippie crap band list. Back In Black is the best rock song of all time. When that song comes on, no matter what type of people you are around a horned hand goes in the air!!!

12. You have to understand that their are too many classic songs to count. So what do they do. They pick from whatever source they got all these from and put it up and then they wait for all of us to scream at them and each other. Of course there are a myriad of songs they have left out. The only thing to do is just to list all known songs and have AOL subscribers vote don't you think?

14. This list is typical play list radio and does not really address the influence of real classic rock lovers. For instance why Kansas a mediocre band is here is beyond me. Why Let It Rain, Clapton's best guitar solo is not here is amazing, as is not Stones Can't you Hear me Calling which is their best jam and maybe one of the best Rock jams ever not on the list is mind blowing as is no Santana, no Jefferson Airplne or Starship, or no Dead. Come on lets have a real list from people who know more than what is now played on the radio.

19. This list is nearly as deep as the Rolling Stone Top 500 songs. Duane Allman had more talent in his left pinky finger than Lynyrd Skynryd's pilot had in keeping an airplane in the air, let alone their band as a whole. Sweet Home Alabama 4??? honestly...? the lack of Yes, classic Genesis, Bruce Springsteen, Little Feat, The Outlaws, Ted Nugent, Leon Russell, Allman Brothers, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck, Emerson Lake and Palmer, David Bowie, and others could have properly been addressed had the list not contained the entirety of Led Zeppelin's discography. While containing some awesome songs, this list was essentially created by listening to an average day of classic rock radio. Christ...think much yourself...I would have never imagined Stairway to Heaven in any other place but 1. The great thing is Tull's 40+ minutes of orgasm that is Thick as a Brick has more musicality and ingenuity in the first two minutes than all Led Zeppelin songs combined. While your list has some good variety early on, after 30 it becomes a hodpodge of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, band's the are good in their own right but essentially the equivalent of marijuana. They're a gateway to better, harder, and sexier drugs: see Frank Zappa's music.
