Brandon Flowers, 'Crossfire' -- New Song

Brandon Flowers CrossfireThe Killers frontman Brandon Flowers gives us our first taste of his upcoming solo album with the single 'Crossfire.' Pulling from the Killers' distinguished sound, 'Crossfire' features not only layers of piano mixed with a steady back-beat, but an electric guitar interlude just after Flowers croons in the sing-a-long chorus: "lay your body down, lay your body down, lay your body down."

Stuart Prince (who helmed the Killers' 'Day & Age') is the primary producer of Flowers' forthcoming release, titled 'Flamingo' (after the Las Vegas Hilton hotel). Other producers on the project are Brendan O'Brien (Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen) and Daniel Lanoid (Bob Dylan, U2).

Out in September, the album will also include tracks 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' and 'Hard Enough,' the latter featuring Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis.
