50 Cent, 'My Life' feat. Eminem and Adam Levine -- New Song

Shady Records

50 Cent has released his brand new single, 'My Life.' It is the third single to be released from the rappers upcoming fifth studio album, 'Street King Immortal.' 'My Life' features Eminem and Adam Levine (Maroon 5).

Produced by Symbolyc One (Kanye West, Beyonce, 50 Cent, etc.), 'My Life' has the sound that fans have come to expect from 50 Cent, but with a bit of a twist. The song has a bit of a rap-rock feel to it, mainly from the instrumentals. The vocals truly shine with the different styles from 50 Cent, Adam Levine, and Eminem. The chorus has a catchy harmony from Levine. "My life, my life/Makes me wanna run away/There's no place to/No place to go." The verse from Eminem gives the high-energy and infuriating lyrics that made Eminem's alter-ego, Slim Shady, so popular in the late 90's. "I'm trapped, so all I do is rap, but everytime I rap I'm more trapped/And I rap myself right into this bubble, oh oh, I guess it's bubble wrap." 50 Cent seems to find a happy medium between the two. "I haven't been this f****** confused since I was a kid/Sold like 40 million records, people forgot what I did/Maybe this is for me, maybe/Maybe I'm supposed to go crazy/Maybe I'll do it 3 AM in the morning like Shady." The unique combination and well-structured song proves that 50 Cent is still a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. 'My Life' is going to be making quite an impact in the world of hip-hop.

Fans can check out the video for 'My Life' now. The video was shot primarily in Eminem's hometown, Detroit, MI. 'My Life' is available now for digital download. 'Street King Immortal' is set for release on February 26th. 50 Cent fans can hear the song on AOL Radio's New Hip-Hop First.
