Avenged Sevenfold is known for having a unique rock and metal sound, and for pumping out rock hits with ease after the success of the most famously, 'Bat Country.' The band has been relatively quiet this year, but they reportedly are continuing to work on the follow-up to their last album, 'Nightmare,' which was released in 2010. The song works as a strong theme song to the war game and its lyrics seem to be inspired by the game-play. The track is a fast-paced and energetic song with some intense guitar riffs that are sure to make fans of the band, and the video game, quite happy. Along with the loud guitars and the pulsating drums, 'Carry On' is another strong vocal performance by lead singer M. Shadows who brings out the power within the tune. "Search endlessly, fight till we're free/ fly past the edge of the sea."
Although the band has said they are writing new material, it is unclear when their sixth studio album will be released. For now, fans can indulge in 'Carry On' on AOL Radio's New Rock First.
