Cher Lloyd is well known for her breakout hit single 'Want U Back.' This song contains the edge and emotion in Lloyd's voice that was featured in the first single, but takes it a step further with Karmin-like sing-rap verses, behind another catchy dance-pop beat. Becky G, who also helped write the song, provides her own strong vocal rapping on the track behind a synth-pop, upbeat rift. It is likely the song will be as radio-friendly as its predecessor. The track is one of the most positive songs on the album, as Lloyd sings about an 'oath' to a friend, who she'll always be there for. She says in the song, "You need a hand, and I'm right there besides you/you in the dark, I'll be the bright light to guide you."
The American version of 'Sticks & Stones' includes appearances by Busta Ryhmes and Carolina Liar. The album itself differs from the UK version, which was a top five record. You can check out the new single right now on AOL Radio's New Pop First.
