Kelly Clarkson, 'Don't Rush' (Feat. Vince Gill) -- New Song

RCA

Kelly Clarkson is once again going country for her latest single from her 'Greatest Hits: Chapter One' album. 'Don't Rush' features singer-songwriter Vince Gill and was written by Blu Sanders, Natalie Hemby and Lindsay Chapman.

'Don't Rush' is the second country single released by Clarkson as a main act and her fourth overall. Her first country single was a country remix of her pop hit 'Mr. Know it All.' This tune, however is a feel-good track with a nostalgic, classic country feel. The song includes smooth, soulful vocals from both Clarkson and Gill and makes you feel like you're relaxing on an island somewhere. It's a simple, laid back love song that is a nice change of pace for Clarkson who, along with 'Catch My Breath,' is singing more about love and happiness, instead of break-ups and heartbreak. The duo does a good job with the soulful harmonies and Clarkson sounds like she's been a country star for years. They sing together in the chorus: "Stopping every minute just because you're in it/Wishing everyday was Sunday, you're right next to me/It's how it's supposed to be."

'Don't Rush' is one of three new songs to be included on her her first greatest hits album, along with the album's first single 'Catch My Breath' and 'People Like Us.' The 17 track album is set to be released next week in the United States. Fans can listen to her latest hit right now on AOL Radio's New Country First.
