'She's So Mean' has the typical Matchbox Twenty sound that fans have grown to love over the years. Rob Thomas provides his unique voice that's instantly recognizable. The vocals and the lyrics are definitely what provide the catch to the song. 'She's So Mean' is a story about being in a relationship where the woman is just a terrible person to her man, but there's something about her that makes the man want to stay. Seems like a very relatable topic since it seems like everyone has had at least one relationship where they dated someone that did at least some of the things in this song. "She'll make you take her to the club, but then she leaves with her friends." Or, "All her clothes are on the floor, and all your records are scratched." With the relatable lyrics and the very simplistic and catchy instrumentals, 'She's So Mean' has all the makings to be another great song from the Orlando, Fla. rockers.
'North' is Matchbox Twenty's first full album of new material since 2002's 'More Than You Think You Are'. 'North' hits stores and digital outlets on September 4th. Fans can listen to 'She's So Mean' now on AOL Radio's New Pop First.
