Scherzinger taps into a Caribbean influence on the Jim Jonsin-produced pop song, with a catchy repetitive chorus:
"Come here baby, hey be my baby, hey be my baby / Oh, oh, oh / Come here baby, put your hands on my body, hands on my body / Oh, oh, oh / Right there, keep it right there / I love it when you put it right there / Oh, oh, oh."
The 32-year-old continues to talk about all the things she likes her man to do. Then, 50 Cent comes in with his verse, rounding out the song with his male perspective. While the track will undoubtedly draw comparisons to Rihanna, the rapper actually drops an uncanny lyrical reference to Destiny's Child.
Scherzinger began working on her solo debut in 2005, but scheduling issues and creative reworkings have long delayed the release. 'Killer Love' became available in Europe in March, and will be unveiled in the US on August 16.
