Airborne Toxic Event is coming off their most successful album, 'All At Once,' and is perhaps best known for their alternative hit, 'Sometime Around Midnight,' from 2008. The song has a similar anthemic feel with a mid-tempo beat that slowly builds into a climactic end. It's just as dramatic as 'Sometime Around Midnight' but set with deeper emotion, less anger, and soaring vocals that take over especially at the end. Additionally, the infectious song is built around a catchy chorus, soft guitar beats, and steady drumming. Jolett told Billboard that the song's message includes the search for a soulmate and the power of love to triumph over the fear of death. He added "The song is kind of a lament of [the difficult year], just how overwhelming these things can be." Jolett's powerful lyrics are seen throughout the entire song. He sings in the opening verse: "And I wished that our lives were just endless, 'cause it's all too short, and I'm leaving soon."
'Such Hot Blood' has been worked on with the help of producer Jacquire King, who has worked with many artists including Kings of Leon and Of Monsters and Men. In advance of the 2013 album release, the band will be touring select dates throughout the winter and spring. Take a listen to 'Timeless' right now on AOL Radio's New Alternative First.
