The Script, 'Hall of Fame' -- New Song

Irish pop rock band The Script has released their lead single from their upcoming 3rd album titled '#3.' The single, 'Hall of Fame' was written by band members Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan.

The Script, well known for hits such as 'Breakeven,' and 'For The First Time,' provide a twist to their familiar sound on this single, collaborating with Will.I.Am. Will.I.Am. adds a unique element to the song, which features elements of rap-rock and is uplifting and catchy. The inspiring track is about reaching one's goals and striving to reach the top. Sheehan commented that the lyrics are "definitely some of the most positive and upbeat we've ever written." Included in the chorus are the lyrics, 'And the world's gonna know your name, and you'll be on the walls of the hall of fame."

'#3' is scheduled to be released in September. In the meantime, The Script will return to North America for a 18 city tour beginning October 9 in New York City. Fans can hear 'Hall of Fame' right now on AOL Radio's Pop Mix.
