'Laredo' is the second single featured on Band of Horses upcoming release 'Infinite Arms' set to release May 18. With a melody-driven chord progression similarly sounding to 'Weed Party,' the mid-tempo track references the locale Laredo (most likely the city in Texas), whereas other tracks off 'Infinite Arms' were inspired by, or written and recorded in Muscle Shoals, Ala., Asheville's Blue Ridge Mountains, the Hollywood Hills and the Mojave desert, among others.
Mostly produced by the band, the album was also helmed by Phil Ek and mixed by Dave Sardy. The band recently released the music video for 'Compliments,' which can also be viewed on their site. Check out Band of Horses' upcoming tour dates, and tune into AOL Radio's New Indie First station to hear 'Laredo.'
