Adam Lambert, 'If I Had You' -- New Song

1. Actually, "If I Had You" isn't a new song, just a new single. It debuted last fall when Adam's "For Your Entertainment" came out.

Adam fans need to stop this single sabotaging...If I Had You is his next single, not Can't Let You Go (great song)...I swear, his fans are always trying to control him and his decisions...won't even mention all the crap you guys give him about his dancers...that being said If I Had You is a great pop song and I hope it's his next Platinum plus top ten US single.

3. You are so right Need2Stop - "If I Had You" IS his next SINGLE. "Can't Let You Go" is a song on his UK release (May 3 or 4) - NOT a release in the U.S. I'm ordering the CD with "CLYG" from Amazon UK - was supposed to come May 5 (fast delivery), but now delayed to middle of the month. You can hear "CLYG" on YouTube - and it's absolutely stunning (reminds one of Evanescence). And if Lambert likes his dancers - that's his decision - they'll be great on tour.

4. ADAM himself has stated at many of his interviews that If I Had You is his next OFFICIAL single from the FYE album & he is also making a video to go with it. Can't Let You Go is one of the four BONUS tracks from his FYE UK album and I think his best song from all the editions so far .. IMO .. ADAM has always said he wants dancers & many other visuals for his shows & judging from his UK gig at the Heaven club he had a great time dancing & singing. Sometimes the stage is a bit small but they look good to me & if it makes ADAM happy to have them ... SO BE IT!! No Big Deal!

5. I surely do hope that THIS ^ is NOT the cover art for the single! Of ALL the gorgeous and interesting pictures of Adam Lambert, why choose this one for the single cover art of a high-energy, euro/pop dance track? I don't get the fun, carefree, high-energy, "I'm in love", dance/rave party vibe from this picture which is what this song is all about. :-/ Supposedly this song won't be officially released as the new US single until mid-late May. Hopefully there will be some MAJOR changes by then.

7. Here we go again with the picayune complaints. Who CARES what the cover looks like (altho' IMO ALL ADAM's pics are great!) ADAM has a vision for his career & what is on the CD (song. vocals) is what is important .. not what covers it. We've heard ADAM perform the song before .. we KNOW it's a fun song ... so IF you don't like the cover art then just DOWNLOAD the song. PROBLEM SOLVED!

8. People are so juvenile when it comes to this stuff. It's all about the music so grow up. Adam knows what he wants and sure doesn't need anyone else trying to tell him what to do. If you want to mother someone adopt a kid!
