Nick Jr.'s 'Yo Gabba Gabba!' has always separated itself from the TV herd with its vibrant colors, retro design, and, not least, its musical guests. This summer, though, DJ Lance Rock and the rest of his friends are taking their show beyond the realm of television, and onstage. Yesterday, the show announced plans for a live tour this fall, kicking off on Aug. 26 in Bethel, N.Y. and winding its way across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up on Dec. 12 in Dallas, Texas. On hand for the live tour will be DJ Lance Rock, of course, as well as Biz Markie and his famous 'Biz's Beat of the Day.' At each stop, the Gabba Gabba gang will feature a various surprise 'Super Music Friends' and 'Dancey Dancers.'
When you go see the Yo Gabba Gabba! gang this summer, your ticket fee will also be doing some good for those less fortunate. One dollar from every ticket purchased will go directly to benefit your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate -- meaning you can have a blast and feel a little better about yourself at the same time.
American Express Cardmembers will be able to buy tickets as early as 10:00AM today, and the Nick Jr. show will then hold a presale for Yo Gabba Gabba! online community members on Wednesday, May 26. To sign up for the exclusive offer, or for more information about where the tour will be headed this fall, check out the event's official page.
