'Just By Being You (Halo and Wings)' is the second single from country newcomers Steel Magnolia, 2009 winners of CMT's 'Can You Duet?' singing competition show. The song is the group's follow-up to 'Keep on Loving You,' the highest charting debut single from a male-female Country duet act in the 66-year history of the Billboard Top Country Songs Chart. The dramatic power ballad finds the duo, who have been dating for several years, each pledging to accept the other, no strings attached: "I'll take off my halo, if you take off your wings / You don't have to be invincible cause I sure ain't no saint / You take me to heaven, just by being you."
Steel Magnolia's debut full-length album is expected to be released in the fall of 2010. They will spend most of this summer supporting Brad Paisley as he tours across America on his H2O Tour.
