'Another Way to Die' is the new song from Chicago-based hard rockers Disturbed. It is the first taste of the band's forthcoming fifth album 'Asylum,' the follow-up to 2008's 'Indestructible,' which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart upon its release. As the song's spacey intro gives way to a compact thrash-metal guitar riff, the lyrics bemoan the damage we're doing to planet Earth: "Still we ravage the world that we love / And the millions cry out to be saved / Our endless maniacal appetite / it's just another way to die / Can we repent in time?"
Frontman David Draiman has reportedly promised fans that the new album will be every bit as dark and aggressive as past Disturbed albums -- particularly in the lyrics department -- but that it will also continue to show growth and maturity in terms of musicianship.
'Asylum' is expected in stores sometime in August, and Disturbed will be headlining the nationwide Rockstar Uproar tour starting Aug. 17. In the meantime, you can listen to 'Another Way to Die' on AOL Radio's New Rock First station.

1. I like Disturbed's new single. It's not as good as some of their other music, but it's still pretty good.
