Trey Songz, 'Can't Be Friends' -- New Song

R&B singer Trey Songz makes it clear that he and his former lover 'Can't Be Friends' on his new song of that very same name.

The track is the second single from his upcoming album fourth album, 'Passion, Pain & Pleasure.'

Understated, low-register piano chords combine with a thudding, tension-building drum beat as Trey expresses regret and sets his boundaries: "And I wish we never did it / And I wish we never loved it / And I wish I never fell so deep in love with you / And now ain't no way we can be friends."

'Passion, Pain & Pleasure,' which Trey has reportedly described as his most personal album yet, is expected in stores on Sept. 14. He has already started his first-ever headlining tour to promote the new record.
