Far East Movement, 'Like a G6' -- New Song

'Like a G6' is a new song by rising electro hip-hop outfit Far east Movement.

The LA-based Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif and DJ Virman collaborate with producers the Cataracs to combine electro, low-registered drum beats with strobing, synth-driven percussion -- while comparing the euphoric tipsy feeling of getting drunk at a club to the "fly" high-end Gulfstream G650 jet:

"Poppin bottles in the ice, like a blizzard / When we drink we do it right gettin slizzard / Sippin sizzurp in my ride, like Three 6 / Now I'm feelin so fly like a G6."

They even manage to pay homage to a Roland TR-808 drum machine and MC Hammer: "Its that 808 bump, make you put yo hands up / Make you put yo hands up, put yo, put yo hands up / (You can't touch this)."

The Black Eyed Peas-sounding 'Like a G6' is featured on their first album with Cherrytree / Interscope Records, expected in stores sometime this fall. Titled 'Free Wired,' the effort will include their previous hypnotic hit 'Girls on the Dance Floor' and is expected to include a Snoop Dogg-featured song called 'If I Was You' and 'So What,' which samples Beastie Boys' 'So What'Cha Want.'

Far East Movement will be joining Mike Posner on the Up in the Air Tour, which kicks off Sept. 14 at at the Anaheim House of Blues. To hear 'Like a G6,' head over to AOL Radio's New Pop First station.
